Got my new USA Stratocaster a few weeks ago...
Decided to give the jazz a break and break in the new Strat in on some straigh up blues... 8)

Really had a lot of fun with this one...

Presets:
Lead = Jazz fusion
Rhythm = Late Nite
Bass = Guitar to Bass...

All parts performed on the new strat... 8)

Named after a little road in Mississippi...(Yeah there is a Dogtown road)

It's in Rockport and Dog Town road will eventually take you to Tina's Boom Boom Club right down the road in Omah Mississippi...

this very very good, tasty chops.....the guitar recorded beautifully. Post some pics of the strat. Is it a USA std.....sounds great. Maple neck etc etc?

Very nice style you took over this BT. Sounds nice and stratty, i like the solo in middle, you nail those SRV little runs in there.

Very nice playing!! I realy enjoyed this Jam!! Was there quite a bit of tremelo work in this or was it just me?? Sounded like you were using that handle quite a bit.

It's got the maple neck and is Black...
I've named it the black beauty...

Yeah, I put some tremelo bar in it..
You know...
A kid with his new toy...Just got to try it...

Who knows...
I may indeed do some Metal one day...

I just have a hoot playing guitar... 8)
And I like attempt to play all styles....

Blues though is my first love... 8)
I could just jam on 12 bar blues forever...

This is the kind of stuff I used to play in my younger days in the Cantinas and Ice Houses of Houston..
Straight up blues and jazz is just such a hard way to make a living..
I played the Alpha-Burger a couple of times for Beer and Burgers..
But damn...
I think I had more fun playing some of those low paying jobs than I did putting the tux on and playing some old, staid convention for big bucks..

My Brother's coming in from Austin next weekend...
Oh Hell...
I forsee great quantities of BBQ and beer consumed and Geeeetar pickn' into the wee hours of the morning..
I'm going to try to get him recorded on a jam this time..

I think If I continue to pour beer in him he might agree..

Man-o-man... this is some kind of inspired, jazz-influenced blues; I love this! Your neurons fire in a very unique way; but we knew that already 8)
Haven't had the opp. to pass thru Houston in the past year, but next time the occasion arises, I'll let you know and we'll cut some notes together.

Tal, very original, and some super fine picking....you never cease to amaze me......keep it up......BTW, I listen to blues constantly, and this tune is a meld between fusion, jazz, and blues.....and to be honest, I don't think I've ever heard anyone even attempt it before, much less pull if off successfully, as you have......Kudos, dude.
