piper at the gates of dawn is a classic - interstellar overdrive is one of the best riffs ever - i sure hope the floyd gave him some cash seeing as they spent the next couple of decades getting rich writing songs about him.

An article the next day said that Floyd made sure Syd received royalties for the work he did before he left the group..and that he lived comfortably off of it. The guys knew the right thing to do.
