Any word on new firmware?

ive been away from the board for a few months, so im just wondering if theres any word on new firmware. i guess im being greedy about it, cause i just want it to be able to read a mem card over 2gb. i recently came in to possesion of a 4gb and wanna use it badly.

but if anyone out there knows a way to partition it, im all ears...ive searched for the last few hours and cant find a way to do it.

I think the reader (hardware) itself is limited to 2GB based on when they were made. I'll ask a rep next time I see him.

I think the bigger cards (over 1gb) are differenet flash card types ie type II, not type I. There is a physical size difference which wont allow you to fit your card in.

no, mine fits in just fine, no problems at all. im just on the searching mission to figure out how to make non removable so i can partition it, then put it back to removable. i think itll work if i can get it working. if i do get it working....ill post how i did it, then the info will be shared with all....
