  • hello razoroc
I have many gp tabs but I may need more
  • Thanks for the link jat061 I have managed to download the lot but am surprised that the file states there are 55294 gp tabs and when extracted I only get around 49000.

I too await razorrocs' moment to shine.

I fear the ability to top the 50000 tab mark may be a bit much...
  • Okay, Maybe this is old news to some, but I have found lots of sites that have tons of \"Powertabs\" of almost every band you could think of and since GP has a Powertab inport function this has enabled me to load these tabs in GP and save them as a GP file, There is also a Midi to tab converter in GP which I have also found to work very well. There are also many sites out there that still offer some GP tabs.

For those of you who would be willing to spend the money, There is a program out there called \"Sibelius\" and a plug in that goes with it called (Neuratron Photoscore) This program will allow you to scan Music scores from your favorite guitar mag and convert the file to a midi which you can then convert to GP. I haven't had a chance to really work with this since I don't have the program. I have a friend you records and he is going to experiment with it when he gets a chance and let me know what he came up with. I'll keep the forum posted when he figures out if it works well or not.
  • *cough* ulimate guitar tabs GP4 and power tabs *cough*

    oooooh yeah!
  • Ah yes GP. I love it  Neuatron photoscore you say
    mmmmhoohoohaaaahaaahaaa.
  • Hey you can always listen and learn :P
  • You have to wonder what happens to these programs now. Why make newer versions if they will only be bought by a dismally limited audience now. This law just doesn't make sense. Someone with a brain needs to get elected and start showing these clowns that they are stifeling commerce.
