Hey there all.

Just finished this piece. Haven't had much time to sit down and record of late. So the end result is a bit rushed. All comments welcome.

Hey Paul, your classical thing was great. Made me think of a sojourn in the country. Really expressive stuff.
Hey Wick, is your dad a bit of a satch fan?

The whole nine yards...
Just outstanding.... 8)
Thanks guys, glad you liked it.
In answer to your query Tim, my user name is firejack018 and my real name is Gavin. And I reside in Australia. I guess sometimes I put Gavin by accident. Soz bout that.
Not sure what a GTU'er is. Could you enlighten me please? I'm curious.
Thanks and regards,

Seriously, how long did it take you to learn that??
Keep it up!
Thanks for the tune,

In answer to geasap's question:
Probably a long time. It always does. You have to start off really slow and get every note, fingering, and pick right, and then slowly build up the speed. Obviously the more times you do it, the easier it gets.
Check out what Jamie Andreas has to say at http://www.guitarprinciples.com/. There are a lot of top tips for technique, exercised and practice techniques. (and Ney Mello is a regular contributor to the forums!)
LOL yeah I wish! I've been playing guitar on and off for about 10 years. I taught myself guitar using the Surfing With The Alien songbook, so I know Satch's music fairly well.
Loved the comments bout the drums. I honestly thought they were the best part of the mix, but I guess I'm biased due to all the hard work of programming every single-lil-tiny drum hit. Guess you can't please everyone. Hehe.
Anyways, thanks for the encouraging comments. And I'll try harder with the drums next time. Gonna go out back right now and give the drummer a few stern words.

I guess it's because of the raw and slightly unstable nature of real drummers, that computers just can't emulate!
Thanks iliace for your encouraging comments. Still lots of room for improvement though. Starting to get the hang of mixing.
I agree with you, Andy. You just can't beat the real thing.

Huge congrats for an excellent piece of work.
Michael.
Dudes, thanks yet again. You guys are just too much. Must have been an awesome concert hey sans. I saw him in sydney bout 8 or so years ago. He was amazing. No mistakes (none that i could perceive anyway). Such genius!

Seeing Joe live was amazing and Stu Ham with him on bass, too much:)
Can’t remember who the drummer was at the time sorry bro lol.
After listening to your Satch covers, you inspired me to drag out the old CD's and try to create a Satch Patch on the GNX.
Cheers
Michael.
Man that Stu Hamm is a freak. I had a bass solo of his on a vinyl pullout sample from a guitar mag way back when. Jaw dropping solo.
The drummer wasn't Jonathan Mover was it?
Will keep an eye out for your patch.
Thanks again friend.

Stu played a 20 minute solo at the show. Amazing stuff.
Cheers mate
Michael.
