midsummer daydream
OK thi is my attempt at triumph's midsummer daydream.---I'm not a classical player! Those of you who do classical---I SALUTE YOU !!!
i pretty much butched it but none the less here it is.
I did it on my acoustic on the modern bass patch

the song sounded better unplugged-alot better--being plugged in showed how sloppy things really are. but it was fun to learn. I would like to have a classical guit around but heck I like to have alot of things around.
take care
paul
Man, you're pretty hard on yourself (I know, I do it too  ). Sounded pretty good to me 8) . That's a tough piece to play, and I thought you did very well
thanx for the props--ya sometimeswe're pretty hard on ourselves but I really had fun learning that song, thanx for listening-- I've been meanin to ask what patch we're you using for the obsessive aggressive tune?
odannyboy,
man ever since I heard that song(back in 85) I've wanted to learn it--it's awesome! That guy rick whatever his name is is pretty good ---rips on the fiddle and sings like a bird---man you can't beat that. thanx for listening

Hey WOGS, glad you liked the sound. I'll post it as soon as I have a chance (I'll call it ObAgPS). I have pitch shift at full octave on the expression pedal - fun to play with 8)
I'll be lookin for it!!
Not sure I ever heard that song?? Just listened to your version. I Loved it just awsome!! i wish I could play like that!! There was alot of finerpicking, right?? I would like to pick up on that a litle to be more rounded as a guitar player. But like glider says everything just seems to close together on Electrics for fingerpicking. Anyhow great job!! I'm sure you did the original some justice!!
God Bless Bro!!!
Partch
thanx for listening! you're right mostly figerpicking which is not what I'm used to. I was stuck out of town -away from the family ,and I only took my acoustic so this is what I worked on. God bless you as you use your guitar for his glory!!
paul

Gavin
