SRV Texas Flood (by Bababoey)

<div style="displaynone">fiogf49gjkf0d</div>I got a 1976 Gibson S-1 as an early fathers day gift. It was Gibson's attempt to make a strat like guitar.It has more \"bite\" than my strat. Unusual guitar. It has the body of an LP with the headstock of a flying V. It did not sell very well. I am learning Texas flood, and have a long way to go. I will repost when I learn the whole song. Keep in mind.... I ain't no Stevie!! cry
I played this using the Gibson S-1
I got carried away and improvised alot. I know I should have played alot less notes in spots, but I was having too much fun!

What do you guys think?

Dood - NO one is Stevie. But the S-1 sounds great.
All the same - pretty dam good jam. It's the ability to jam like that that has guys like you scoring groupie-types, while they give me \"that\" look. (You guys know the one - it translates into \"why would I want to talk to YOU???\") :roll:

That tone is SWEET! Nice catch with that guitar, man. Good playing too, the lead breaks really scream, very soulful.

Absolutely Killer! as usual....that axe has some sweet tone...I cant imagine what you'll do with the song once you 'learn\" it!(?)
Is that a BT?... with vocals?...where'd ya get that badboy? i would love to riff over that one myself.

You should be in a stevie ray vaughn tribute band.

i remember when i saw a tribute band to Stevie/Hnedrix play this and i had never heard a song by Stevie ray vaughn b4.I recongised it by the lyrics.you play it just as good as stevie and i love your tone.
