Presets/Banks

Hi All!

I'm new to GNX4 but I love it.
I have a question. I learned how to store new presets but what I need to do is I want to create one of those banks like Starz,Metal,Rock, etc so I can just select the new bank and use my 5 presets on foot switches. Is this possible? Anyone knows how?

Banks are grouped by every five patches. So, for example, Bank 1 = Patches 1-5; Bank 2 = Patches 6-10; etc.

To use banks, GNX must be in Bank mode. Press the mode button (right of the jog wheel) until it turns green - that's Bank mode. You can press footswitch combination

Renaming banks is accomplished from the Utility menu (also to the right of the jog wheel). RTM page 105 for instructions.

So each new set of 5 user presets goes into a new bank and then I can rename it?

Yes, so long as you stick to groups of five (1-5, 6-10, 11-15, ..., 76-80) those five will be in the same group. You can name each bank from the Utilities menu.
