GNX3 hissing.

I know I already posted this in one of the other threads but I haven't gotten an answer yet and I have a show this weekend so I need an answer pretty quick. When I try to use my GNX3 as just effects and an expression pedal (using my amps distortion) I get a loud hissing noise and sometimes what sounds like a T.V. in the back ground. Is there something I am doing wrong? What is the best set up when using the GNX3 this way? Any help would be much appreciated.

Assuming you use direct models.. reduce the gains (if they are maxed) and increase the amp level on one channel. use the warp channel to limit the noise.. ie vary the warp until the model cleans up to where you like it. Even in direct mode, the signal is still processed to go through the efx chain. You have plenty of headroom on the master output control to cover the changes in direct amp volume.

Didn't work so I went back to amp modeling and ended up creating a great sound. How is that bass amp model coming?
