I was wondering how you do it when you record. are you layin down the guitar track and the tryin to sync the drums or vice verse? The guitar sounds like it's in the background. are you using headphones or amp?
As for the poping noises
ck you levels when recording the -6 light should light up consistenly and th 0- light should light OCCASIONALLY
It sounds like possibly a connection. maybe cliping but its not consistent enough.
I like to use headphones when recording.Crank the drums and then lay down rythum tracks. BUT its alittle tricky when you import drum tracks because you loose thr pre roll sync(or I do).
also don't merge tracks till you're absolutly satisfied with the mix.
I love gnx effects for recording. But for live they have to be toned down
I`m using a different function of the guitar pro I`m converting the whole
midi now and inserting them into the mp3 slot of the the gnx4 card.
But still the guitar sounds so muddy compared to what it sounds live.
I`m gonna go back to the other method tommorro of only drum
midi .I use the headphones to record. But what do mean by the levels? On pro tracks or the Gnx4 itself?I`m such a n00b to recording been playing
a very long time but only recording since march.and alot of time reading
the manual.lol
also it must be something to do with all that midi going on---that is does it sound like that when you're recording(i mean muddy) ? I don't have a clue @ all that stuff
a little messin around with thing and you'll be happy with the results--I'm sure.
well.But one day I won`t be.
