Original Instrumental Piece on the GNX3000
I found this Backing Track and recorded an original piece over it. Email me for the Backer and I can hook you up.
I used my OLP Luke guitar into GNX3000 into ibook. Used Garageband for recording.
Used the Luke Solo stock patch and just tweaked up gain and Delay settings. I can post that patch if interested.
Check this out and le me know what you think guys, thx:

Nice tasty stuff 8) Very Gilmore-like
trying to learn more styles and techniques so this is a good way to learn
I truly have appreciated your honest feedback over last few weeks. If it weren't for that I would be stuck making same old mistakes.
I still am hitting sour notes but I think you will agree they are getting less obvious.
It is a good excercise to try recording over a 4-5 minute backing track as it allows you to hear the mistakes and traps you always get into and to imporve on them. I do this alongside trying to learn and record standard cover songs.
Expect more original recordings from me over the next few weeks.
cheers

(37-39) & ( 2:21-2:31) was a little off but jamming comes with that type of little problems...The rest is fine, sounds like you are not having problems with bending technique any more
Very good
I was out of ideas so threw in some tapping.....I like the jazz stuff but you can easily go wildly out of key whilst incorporating jazz stuff. I need to Work on that a lot more.
I had fun doing it and it is part of my practice regime to record over this track now.
