Just thought I'd remind you guys to save up for the Annual Guitar Center Memorial Day SALE - the only \"real\" sale they have (prices really are slashed quite a lot).

I think they open at 7am and there is always a line of eager GASers... so get ready and plan to find a super deal or two.

they also give stuff away to the ppl there when the doors open.

last year it was a guitar, a drum kit and and an amp or something like that. it was enought that i got up at 6am and went down to stand in line

Went early a few years back and picked up a Hiway 1 Strat for $199.99
Sorta like my \"Faded\" Gibson. striped down but USA made. (gibbys way nicer though) anyway gotta be quick cause the best deals (they always have 1 or 2 promotional deals) get picked up fast.

I picked up my Vox AD30Vt , a Radium keyboard controller and a bunch of accessory impulse buys for about $250 total. I think, though, that you can haggle down to close to their 'alarm prices' any other time if you really work at it. (especially if the inventory has been there a bit) You agree?

oh ya those guy will come down almost every time ---just do your homework and know what the price is onthe web shops so you'll know when you're getting a good deal

They sent a post card from a previous MXR EVH phase 90 purchase. I found another music store owned by friends with an employee guitar player using a GNX4. ...so after the crops are in on the farm and a computer upgrade... someone will take my money for one.

It's just a postcard that you have to bring in with you (for the early bird and \"list\" stuff). All it says on the info I got was basically that availability is limited so get there early.

Opens at 8am and I think they let lines start around 6am.

:oops: I couldnt wait till the sale. Since they informed me my SG would not be one of the marked down Items. I decided to buy it early.
That way I avoided it being handled scratched and AC DCed to death by 100s more people the day of the sale. That was my twisted logic anyway. :twisted:
