Walk Away....Remastered
Thanks to all of you for the input, suggestions, and compliments on the first tune.
If y'all would be so kind please check out the new one to see if I've corrected some of the problems. I think I'm on the way, but I'd really like some feedback.
I really appreciate all of you listening to my humble efforts, I really only play well enough to back myself up for songwriting purposes. Many of you outclass me as a player by a long shot. Tal and bababoey, I really dig that blues stuff y'all do.
Anyway hope you enjoy this one, and one again feedback would be greatly appreciated. Well here's the link:

First, this is better than a humble effort. Second, if you want to hear bad... well I've put a few you can hear (that should make you feel better without reading one more word
The new mix is a certain improvement over the last (which I thought was good to begin with). There is more to music than great guitar (though sometimes we get tunnel vision in that respect). You wrote that? This is an original composition? Hell, I wish I had know that to start with. Good work, admirable, Very nice! I might be able to write a simple tune, but you've written lyrics! That's something I wouldn't even think of doing!
And you had mentioned being new to playing lead. Some of the best leads are very simple, but catchy and memorable in their own right. I think you're well on your way there.
New mix really paid off.
I like the song, intro double vocals added a very nice feel, this remix is better than the previous post. Have you considered adding a slightly distorted rythm guitar toward the end? After the solo it feels like the feeling is picking up so it might be nice to preserve the heightened mood after the solo.
