sustain.

how do you add sustain to an effect? i'm not really sure. Also, could someone give me a basic tutorial of the effects, and pointers to make some cool effects would be nice too. Maybe a piano effect (if that is possible) Horn effects too. and a nice peaceful effect. ect. just useful effects to make. Thanks!

  • Use a low Noise Gate threshold and increase compression gain, that should give you some sustain.

As far as horn/piano sounds, you'll have to do some tweaking, because these are not readily available on the GNX - and even then the results might not be satisfactory. You can use the reverse noise gate (PLUCK) to alter the attack, and then in conjunction with modulation effect create organ- or synth-like sounds. Try Rotary and Synth-talk on various settings.
