I was just wondering if there was any lefty's in these besides me, i play a right handed guitar upside down and i don't re-string it so the low E is at the bottom and the high e at the top.
No, I am not left handed, but my dad was, my 13 year old daughter is, two of my aunts are, and an uncle also. None of the left handed people in my extended family play instruments.
It always amazes me to see someone play guitar like you do. I guess if you hear the music in your head its gotta come out some way. I have tried messing around with a left hand guitar but it's too complicated for my feeble mind.
I'm left handed but play guitar right handed. I started playing violin at 5 (quit at 11) right handed as my grandfather said they didn't make left handed violins. It always felt more natural to play guitar right handed after that foundation was built.
Same here. I'm lefty that plays right handed. I often wonder if it's actually detrimental that my left (fret) hand is stronger than my right. I wonder if the muscles in the left hand are actually too strong, thus making them less flexible.
Same here..
I'm a lefty who plays righty. Seemed like fret work came real easy when I was learning to play. The struggle came when I took classical lessons and had to coordinate those fingers on the right hand as well..

I see having my left hand on the freboard as an advantage - but I'm a SLOOOOW picker.
