CORT X-TH, fantasitc guitar u should try out!!!
Bought my new axe a while ago, a CORT X-TH. ( \"X\" for series and \"TH\" means neck-through)
Now am totally amazed by this Korean made but \"high above the Korean standard sounding & play ability\" guitar.
About the SPECs...
- 24 jumbo frets
- Neck-through construction
- Mahogany Body
- 5 pieces maple neck w/z two walnut stripes
- Rosewood fingerboard
- Open pore black finish
- EMG 81 bridge pickup
- EMG 85 neck pickup
- CORT double locking tremolo bridge
- D shaped extra thin neck
And here're the pics...

With no doubt, buying this guitar is one of the smartest choise I've ever made. It's listed around USD$850 but once you try it out you'll find a well worth USD$1500 guitar in your hands.
If u'r a big fan of heavy metal, try this out. You won't be disappointed. XD[/code]

How's it going in C land??? I know overseas there is a greater appreciation for Prog players and instrumentalists. Hope things go well for you!! Good to see you chasing your dreams!! Neil never gave in, or gave up.. hats off to those who stick with it like you have !!

Glad to hear from u AC...
Talk 'bout the trem, it's not really a \"Floyd Licensed\" one. But still, CORT has built it \"high standard\". Feels like playin' on a old Floyd Rose trem back in early times when Ibanez introduced the well known \"EDGE trem\". Comparing to other CORT products w/z Floyd licensed trems, I would say, the one on X-TH kick ass to the other F licenseds...
This guitar will replace my JEM with no doubt. And I'll have it custom painted, install a trem setter, and maybe FERNANDES sustainer... If possible, may change the trem to IBANEZ Lo Pro Edge w/z L.R.Bagges piezo out... Anyway, w/o any custom modifications, this guitar's already stunning~
Hi Mike, what a warm welcome from... XD
I got everything's goin' fine here. I'm not workin' for CORT but workin' for the company in CHINA, which is CORT's largest dealer here, and also as dealer for ZOOM, CRATE etc... I'm workin' as tecnical support and QC for them now.
Neil had been here to give proformans last year and I'm not sure if he'll come this year... He plays real amazing... XD ... and maybe u could come together w/z him sometime~ XD
And the CORT NZS-1 (Neil's sig guitar)... palys like a dream once got setup professionally... We've got 6 of it arrived just yesterday and guess what... they're all gone within 24 hours... One of the other best buy guitar from CORT. I'm planin' to buy one myself later in July...
To tell the truth, I would rather work as a technician more than a proformer. But it dosen't mean that I'll give up proforming. Might find a balancing point between the both and have myself workin' & playin' fun...

I'll give a 8 out of 10 to this trem... some how it rocks... XD
the fine tuning screws doesn't work smooth... comparin' to JEM's Lo Pro Edge......
It's to my understanding that Cort builds the RGT42 for Ibanez
Yea u got it right... CORT actually builds guitar for IBANEZ... so as for Ferder, G&L, and Brain Moore....
My RGT42 has the BASSWOOD body wings which was ok by me I got a great deal on it. I just retrofitted it with the Buzz Feiten tuning system,if you haven't looked into it,check it out for sure. I have been a lisenced retrofitter for a yr and a half now and wouldn't own a guitar without it at this point.
http://www.buzzfeiten.com
But the truth is... there's hard to get the Buzz Feiten tuning system installed here in China main land. There's no autherized retrofitters in China, even worse is that an expearenced player here may had no idea what a \"Buzz Feiten tuning system\" is...
