Hey Dr. Mike ?

I read somewhere you came up with an \"infinite sustain\" setting ...how did you achieve that ? ( I have'nt tackled downloading and installing sound patches or using X-edit at all yet....havent seen much documentation to get me started either...Plus I've concentrated on recording and getting my presets in order so far )....just a general nudge in the settings dept for that infinate sustain would be appreciated

  • Just a nudge ? OK... ;)

Use the delay and set feedback to \"infinite\"...

Unfortunately it's a little more complicated than this. You have to set the pedal you want to use for the sustain to \"toggle\" and set up the parameters to turn on the sustain and go back to the original setting of the delay prior to the sustain hold.

Honestly, the easiest way to learn how to use this is download my \"Satriani V2\" patch. Open it in Xedit and look at the different parameters for pedal A.

Sorry, but its just so much simplier to look at how it's set up and copy it into whatever patch you want to use it in.
  • Hey THANX !....didnt know there was an infinite in delay
  • I'm glad to have been of help.
