How do I use Genedit on a Mac???? Help me I'm new to this!

I have a GNX3 and an Apple Mac I-Book running OS X 10.2.8 (and OS Classic) and I want to be able to use the Genedit software to download patches etc. However, when I try and run Genedit after installing it I am met with a message saying 'OMS could not be found. Please check OMS installation'.

When I try and install OMS after clicking install, nothing happens!

I have an Edirol UM-1EX interface but can't seem to get anything to work.
Searching for help on the web I am getting the impression that OMS doesn't work on my computer.

I have now lost my patience entirely - can anyone help?!

  • I also use a GNX and have Mac OSX!

All I can say is, that I don't know how to get GenEdit running on my Mac and that there semms to be no Help/ Support....
  • It's rubbish really when you think about it. We're using what's supposed to be the best operating system out there (which is used by many musicians) with a supposedly quality guitar 'workstation' and for the life of us can't get the things to work together.
I have resorted to unplugging my GNX and dragging into the other room where my fiance's old PC is and installing all the software onto the crappy Windows ME OS. Irony is that it all worked perfectly!
  • that's just so dump

I never just found out how to install this GenEdit for Mac...how do I do this?? There's no support whereever you look...
