64 bit compatibility

Ive read that GNX's do not work with 64bit operating systems. Am i correct in assuming this just related to USB recording? My intention is to record via PCI but would like to be able to record the gnxs drum synth while its being triggered from patterns created in sonar. Should i expect issues using this method and if so are there any alternatives?

  • Scratch that, i looked and couldnt find an answer, wasnt looking and one found me. - \" we recommend a dual boot system with both Windows XP (32 bit) and Windows XP Professional x64 edition. This dual setup will allow you to use any hardware or software that may not yet work under the 64-bit environment.\" from cakewalk.com
  • That's interesting... I always assumed anything 32-bit would just address the first 32 bits, end of story. Have you tried it yet?
  • Havent tried it yet Im putting a machine together and more or less learning as i go, love the gnx, and 64bit mixing sounds cool. But far as i know there are alot of driver issues with 32 bit programs when working in 64. Lots of soundcard companies have driver downloads available to make them function with 64bit OS. M-Audio, even SB.
Anyone know if digitech has any of these in the works?
