Playing with a CD in stereo

I have a stereo cord going from my CD player into a split adapter (left/ right) then pluging left and right into inputs of my GNX but I'm not getting the CD in stereo, I have had it in stereo before. I have my GNX set up for stereo all and the line in is set to dry. Any other tips ? Thanx :evil:

The only thing i can think of is a dodgy cable. Happened to me once, was meant to be stereo but was really mono...
