You can buy suitable mic's at any music store, or of course on ebay and other internet sellers (musician's friend, etc.). You can buy relatively good mics for under a hundred bucks, even the ol' shure sm57 studio workhorse mic can be had for around for about $100.00 check out this link:
All the gnx4 needs is a mic with an xlr conn. which is pretty much standard. I would however, stay away from \"radio shack\" type microphones. Just my 2 cents .
Try Superlux mics..about 60 bucks and comparable to a Beta 57'. I have 6 of them for Live Sound rigs and they are pehenomenal. Hypercardiod!! They also are great for micing an amp if need be. Very good w voc's.
