  • Very cool. Great composition. I've been thinking about a guitar synth for some time and now I want one even more. Excellent work! 8)
  • Thanks...

I used the GR9 Roland. I had to let it go to get the GNX3000 to upgrade my GSP 21 pro. What an up grade 8)

I'm looking forward to hear your stuff when ya get one...

    Keep on jamn...
  • hey, cool song. I just acquired a GR-20 over X-Mass, the sounds from this thing are

Although I do have an issue with the pickup, the unit itself is superb, I will record something Sat. if I get a chance before band practice.

The orchestraion patches are quite unbelievable! Every person I've showed it to so far like it, I'm definetley happy with my purchase!

    Peace~ :)

you'll have fun thats for shure.. I wished I had mine back...looking forward to hear some of your work.
  • As much as I like the song, I want to say \"thanks a lot\" for making me constantly think of options that would involve the GR20. Since I don't have it, it has become one of the main players in my ever changing \"have to have it next\" list.

It also makes me realize that I never gave the keyboards the required time to become adequate, thus not needing the GR20.

My updated \"have to have it next\" list is now:

    1. GR20 (thanks a lot for adding to this list  ) :D
    2. New motherboard and chip (current system's life expectancy has passed).
    3. New sound card (upgrade from the Audigy2 Platinum
    4. Scalloped neck strat - no real reason other than Ritchie Blackmore used them.
  • ednrg

The syth will inspire the hell out of you..It took me to a new level for song writting.. The piano is what sold me. I'll be looking for some songs from ya..

    I sure miss mine. :(
  • hey i got a new song with the synth, jsut remember i suck at recording and didn't realize until after i created it that drums don't come last and solos should be separated from play, and more than one take lol, but i'm learning and loving it. Let me know waht you guys think minus the mess-ups, i'm gonna try to clean it up tommorow if i have time, work sucks!:P
i took it down cos it sucked :P :(
  • I have a digital piano and synth and wondered if the GR20 could \"drive\" those boards via midi? I asked Roland about this awhile back and they said it was possible but perhaps not very well.

So has anyone with a GR20 tried using it to drive a keyboard synth?
