another noob desperatly lost

Hi there new to the site and product.

I am a lowly garage/mp3 cover player and I upgrading from a DoD Tech4 pedal which I out grew as my skills have grown. I got a sweet deal on a Gnx3 and my god this is waaaaay out of the tech 4 univeres of leagues.

Anyway I am having a really tough time programing the new pedal to the sounds I used to play with. With the Dod I was pretty much right on the following bands. Nickleback , 3 doors down ( distoration ) Ac/dc distortion , Greenday ( distortion ) . I found the patches but I have not found anyones for these bands.

Any fingers pointing the way or information would be great. Thanks.

You could spend a little money and order the MFX Supermodels cd which will help you get just about anysound you want. Its a little pricey but well worth it. Or you can find some free patches and hope they are good. If you want to make them yourself, there are plenty of tutorials scattered around the forums, and you could always ask for help. If youre interested in the MFX cd, heres a link. Listen to the mp3 examples.
