humbucker parallel connected - ?

what does this mean and what are the implications on the sound?

and i guess regular humbuckers are configured in series? whats the dif?

    They still cancel the hum but it will be less powerful with more highs and overall cleaner sound.

    I tried both series and parallel wiring with my axe recently and I did notice that the sound with parallel wiring wasn't that strong esp if u r playing heavy stuff. series had more warm sound and more powerful.
