Help, anyone running X-edit 1.30.xxxxx

Anyone had a problem with when they open this version of Xedit it comes up with a message stating
\"Unable to get the current preset from the device, no response was received from the device\"

then when you click ok another window pops up with
\"Object reference not set to an instance of the object\"
click that and nothing opens
then click on a patch again and it works perfectly?

Bizarre or what

i usually have to restart my GNX4 when that happens...

i feel earlier version was much better.

I've seen it a few times. The first time I downloaded and installed, and tried to run it did not work. The thing I do is unplug the USB cable and plug it back in the proper USB Port that the Drivers were installed using and re execute the program and everything pulls up just fine then. I supose turning on and off the GNX is about the same thing because right after power on you see the USB Active. Anyhow thats what I do instead of rebooting the GNX.

I sometimes get a similar error (the first part you described) the first time I open X-Edit and go to open current preset.

And the ocasional MIDI error communication message when using the v-switch and the wah-wah, on a patch wich has a corrupted v-switch setting ha ha...
