are there any good cabinet emulating stompboxes?
now i traded all my kit in for the GNX3K im happy - but i cant jam/record with my mate ed anymore (he used to use the RP100 or BP50 into the RPX400 line ins - his kit is rack stuff and too much effort to bring over).
I said he should get the RP50 or RP80 - but he's interested in that new Behringer GD121 amp modelling stompbox because its really cheap;

But it wont have cabinet emulation in it (i dont think!) i know Behringer do the GI100 Ultra-G DI box - but that only does a 4x12 cabinet and is £30!, does anyone know of any stompboxes/DI type boxes that have good cabinet sounds so he can buy the GD121? Were intending for us to both be recording into Pro Tracks with me using the GNX up USB1/2 and him on a seperate track through the GNX 1/4\" line ins up USB3/4.
if it works out too pricey i still say he should go the RP50 TBH.
I might buy the BP50 back = that was a great little recording pedal.
