    That truely rocked man truely!!
  • Excellent! Crunch! :!:

What patch were you useing for the Bass?
Great keys too. in short That Rewled
  • hey guys!
thanx for listening and posting your thoughts and questions! :D this is some seriously fun stuff!! 8) i never dreamed i would be able to record my favorite covers to this degree in my own home bedroom when i first got my GNX4 :P

the backing track on this song had drums, bass and keys made from midi music (sounds like old nintendo game music) and, using samples from real instruments, turned into real audio! the guy who deserves the BT credit on this song is \"the radikal 11\" from the guitar bt forum

the hardest part is mixing the song to sound good from PTP/GNX4/AMP to computer/media player/desktop speakers :? this sounds A LOT different in media player due to its plug-ins (E.Q., true-bass, ect.) than it does if you were to listen in PTP and your amp...

    later fellas!!
    mightymoe!!!
  • I just got my sound working again and all i can say is wow... sounds amazing.

and what the hell did you use for the chorus background. I always wondered how to get that sound. Sounds like you are using a keyboard which i don't thinkt hey use but it still sounds damn good.
  • hey DUDERMAN!! those keyboard sounds were mixed in with the backtrack. i believe this was a midi trans. into soundfonts...i was gonna lay guitar lines over top of it, but decided it sounded fine the way it was...
i just wish i could have mixed it better, especially the solo. it's just a hair-bit too low and sounds distant in some places... oh well, just another learning experiance for me, i guess... still, it's not too shabby for bein' my 4th recording  8) :P

    later all!!!
    scottymoe!!
