Allied Assult
Hey guys!
This is KT and I hooked up with Armada1 and ripped out a tune called Allied Assult. 8)
It's a song about D-Day and WWII. Armada1 did a great job with the lyrics and it's a pretty rockin' tune.
Anyways... Check it out HERE!!!

The main riff has a \"Symptoms of the Universe\" vibe. Definitely a great song for driving. My only criticism would be that I would have liked the chorus riff to be a little more distinct. It sounds a little too close to the main riff.
nice teamwork on that one guys
Nice lead playing by both of you guys on this one! I agree with ODB in that I can hear the Maiden thing going on. Maybe a Maiden-ish guitar harmony woulda been cool leading into the bridge? Then again, that might've been too much? Too obvious?
Loved the wah lead tone, too, K-T. That was a great tone for this track, it fit perfectly.
The only piece of constructive criticism I can offer is that there seems to be a bit of muddy rumbling in the rhythm section-like the guitar and bass are kinda smearing together in places. That very well may be my speakers, though, I need to listen on headphones to hear it better.
Anyway, great job guys!

It was great to work with Armada1. He is fantastic! Pure pleasure.
I really had to dig in on this one. I did and re-did drums at least 3 times . I used the gnx4 on lead, vocals and bass. I have re sang like 5 other songs so far with the GNX4. Unseen Battle, Perihellion, Distant Light, Hail Of Fire and Stand Up. The songs were good before but re-doing with gnx4 just brought them to another level. The gnx4 has been a Heaven sent. Much clearer & brighter vocals. The bass patch is a g3456 and my lead patch is g3456's too.. For vocals I used the V- Comp patch from the tutoral. I entered the contest with this song by KT and me plus a new one called \"In the CrossFire\". Plus 2 out of the 5 that I re- sang with GNX. So I have entered four songs. I wish everybody luck on this contest. It would be nice to win. Maybe some Metal band needs a old school vocalist.
Peace
Oh todd yes I had to turn off the bass boost on all my stereo and digital listening devices. My schecter cv-4 pouds man. It is a fine bass.
