got my mixer!!

a phonic 1202.4 mic/line 2 stereo mixer.now the problem how to hook it up.it saterday nite .i have two plugs for amps and one for guitar.two are going in to the gnx3 one to guitar.i,m thinking i,m needing two more. my room mate was trying to surprise me and got it.she did this with the gnx3 to.she great but when i did,nt figure out wires and stuff !!!!plaese help!!!

Sounds right.....you just need to go

Guitar ----> GNX

---

> 2 cables to Input of mixer

> 2 cables to monitors, amps, pc

Depending on what you're running the mixer into, you'll need 2 more cables or a stereo cable (if running to pc)

Oh, you can use the cables you have for now, just run mono

had it hook up guitar in mixer gnx in mixer headphones mixer ,but no effects where working on it i.ll try ur way when i get more chables . thanks for the help.

shouldn't you put guitar into gnx3 instead of directly to the mixer?

yep guitar gnx mixer then you gets efeects.music store not open on sunday,so headphones till monday.thanks for the help.how would i hook up the dr-3.?

When I run my DR-3 into my mixer I usually just go out the back of the DR-3 stereo 1/4 to a stereo channel in the mixer 8) my GNX is the same stereo 1/4 to another stereo channel in my board sounds great through the PA that way. I record that way as well stereo out straight to my interface thats plugged in my laptop. check out the member music section if you would like to hear the results. \"Stupid Little Thang\" 8)

thanks for all the help .i.ll get more wires on wendsday .now for the big pard what monitors to buy?christmas is coming so maybe for xmas or in with taxes ,have alot of time to sudy and look around??

I just went with the M-Audio BX8's 130W powered units. Sound great with mine.
