Recording guitars
I was recording some lead guitars last night with my bud and noticed that he had the volume knob on his guitar turned way down I asked him to turn it up to get a level but he wanted me to get a level with his voume turned way down he said he was getting a more dynamic or subtle tone that way, (it was a slower blues tune we were working on) after I got some leads recorded I went home to review what I had tracked. The takes had lots of string noise etc...

:?: Also what kind of plugins reduces string noise and such? I need to clean up the tracks a bit. :?:
