Combination of forces and polling the group for results
I think I like this new polling feature and I may have come upon an idea to get everyone in the group communicating and interacting more effectively.
What do you guys say about posting a rhythm or lead piece on the member music pages and then letting other members put in the lead or changes or whatnot.
It would have to work two ways.
For example:
The original posting member would post some chording progressions to the group. In his post in member music he would have to go into detail about his pre-sets, inspiration, and what he WOULD like the final sound to be like.
Then any other member could post a lead part on the changes without any regard to the Chord guys wishes as long as he detailed what his presets were and why he chose to go the path he chose instead of the one of the original Chord Smith.
Then we could have the other members comment about the additional tracks and run a poll to see who has been more effective, in the eyes of the group for that particular piece.
I don't know, but it kind of sounds like fun to me.
Either respond to this post as usual, or try out the posting feature associated with this thread.
Let me know what you think,
