\"hey Napoleeon, do you ever wish you could go backin time?\"
great movie, i think the idea of making a sequal stinks though, you?
I've got many styles. For this piece I used a thumb picking technique. I call it \"stride\" picking as it's simaliar to the old rag time piano stride playing. Your thumb acts like the piano players left hand playing octaves. If you watch the movie \"Ray\". He does stride piano on the song \"Mess around\". Another good example is Fleetwood Mac - Never going back again.
Here's some styles I work with.
I do alot of country telecaster picking. Jazzy texas swing acoustic stuff. Also jazz fusion stuff - John Mcglauhlin. Classical fuson stuff - Al Dimeola, Paco de Lucia and rock stuff - Steve Vai, Eddie VH ect...
Now days I spend most my practice time playing jazz charts out of the real book. I'm not good at it but I hope I will be someday.
I'll be composing some more stuff. I really want to write a good jazz piece with some nice changes to solo over.
