It's my Warmoth project Strat. The specs are: Black Korina body, Wenge neck with Macassar Ebony fretboard. Reverse CBS headstock, Sperzel locking tuners, graphite nut, stainless steel 6115 frets. Dimarzio Chopper in the neck position, Dimarzio Humbucker from H_ll in the bridge. Coil tap on bridge 'bucker and in/out phase switching. Phase switch also selects front or rear \"coil\" when coil tap is engaged. This pic doesn't really do it justice, though
Here's a little sample I recorded with it after I finished putting it together Strat Solo
I'll try to get a couple pics of my other axes up later.
Thanks Jer! I'm not a huge Scorps fan, but I do think Mathias Jabs (sp?) was one of metal's most under rated guitarists. In the hey day of the guitar hero (the '80s) he had some of the most memorable solos out there. Come to think of it, Rock You Like a Hurricane was one of the first power chord riffs I ever learned, so maybe there is a connection
For the record, that Strat Solo thing was recorded with a J-Station. I love the clean tones in that thing. Some really sweet lead tones in it, too. Johnson is/was owned by Digitech, so I'm technically not breaking any rules by posting that I definitely prefer the overall functionality of my GNX3, though.

Thanks! I do like flamed KOA and I like the sound I get from KOA. I tend to be more on the Jazz side and prefer the mellow tones. Yes to answer your question. Actives, with coil taps and phase splitter. I got the V headstock, flamed maple overlay, 5 peaice maple walnut neck, had the body with rounded edges, ablone dot inlays, and the fishman bridge. I went with the C22's on mine and I do like the tone I get with them and the KOA. KOA is getting rare and $$. I talked to tech support when I was getting ready to order my CC275 a few months ago. Carvin rejected the last order of KOA as the quality was poor. They said the wood was getting hard to come by. I am partial to the flamed KOA, lookd great in person.
Thanks on the CC275, I really like that one and with a bum shoulder, rotator cup tear, the weigh works on my shoulder. The 275 is 3 lbs lighter so that helps a lot and had the typical Carvin fast neck.
dave z is that a petrucci? how do you like vs the ibanez? how does the piezo sound?
i was considering that but went with an ibanez rgt320q instead.
Hello. Yes it is a petrucci. I never played his Ibanez model, but I did own a rg770. I prefer the musicman to the ibanez, and the piezo sounds great on it.
There's a lot of beautiful guitars here.
These are mine.
82 Les Paul - Custom Hand made in Nashville USA
95 Hamer Diablo - also hand made in the USA
These 2 girls really love Me. When I'm happy their happy. When I'm sad their Sad. When I'm angry their angry especially the Diablo , don't get her pissed off.
With you Behringer Headphone Distibutor, are you using the \"Phones Out\" on the front for headphones, and the \"Headphone Out\" on the back for your monitors? If not, what outputs are you using to connect 3 lots of speakers?
Yes you could use the headphone out on the back for monitors. But my bass player has a decent mixer which we use to power monitors. The headphone out in front are great for jamming with out the monitors-thru a mixer we can use a drum machine, vocals, bass another guiter ect.
Here's a copy of the real thing I used to have. It's about 2K cheaper and I can beat on it or lose it and not stress.
I hate rosewood, but the neck alone on the real thing went for $360 on ebay . Trem sucks but I needed to give that a break anyway. Upgraded the bridge PU to a Seymour Duncan distortion, I can get it to squeal at will.
1)The Warlock is probably my favorite. I had one when I was 15. It got stolen 20 years later I bought this one. It's just a neckthru NJ Series but it plays like a dream. I picked it up on ebay for $250.
2)The Les Paul Knock-off is an Agile 2800 DLX. It is a really great sounding guitar for the money. If you are looking for a \"knock around\" guitar that wont break the bank Agile makes some really decent stuff. The setup on it was HORRENDOUS, but after some tuning and tweaking it now plays like butter. I even get compliments from LP guys when they play it.
3) The Jackson I picked up five or six years ago. I barely play it anymore. The pickups are really crappy. I know it was a cheap Jackson, but DAMN these pickup's suck! One of these days I'l slap an X2N in it, but for now it's just wall art in our media room.(AKA, my recording studio)
4) The 12 string acoustic is a \"Seagull\" (?) My Wife gave it to me as a gift. It's not a very expensive guitar but it plays well and sounds... Decent. I certainly wasn't going to complain about it, and I thought it was pretty cool for the wife to pick it up for me.
5) Okay this post wasn't way overdone now was it? The Dagastino Acoustic is my pride and joy. It was the first real guitar I ever had. When I was 9 I got a really lousy guitar from sears. I think my parents spent about $29 (No, really...) for it. I got the Dag when I was 13. It's a Martin knockoff but a very high quality guitar made here in the USA. There are MOP inlays all over it. I wish I had appreciated it more as it's now pretty beat up. Worthless to any one else, but priceless to me.
BTW guys... NICE CARVINS!! I have always loved thier guitars and felt they were always under rated. They are the \"Corvette\" of guitars. No one thinks much of them, but the spank the crap out of guitars twice thier cost!!

It plays great, but every time I tighten the truss rod the neck comes apart
Just kidding (obviously). That was made by This Guy with ENTIRELY too much time on his hands.

I wanna see a Flying V made from tinkertoys.

Love that clean tone. Sounds like a lot of sustain.
Nice solo too. Makes me think of the Scorpions \"Still Loving You\". I dont mean its a copy of it or anything. Just reminds me of it.
Well played.

Atomic, nice sound on your axe!

Thanks!
Nice Jazz Bass!

It get's the job done for the time being.

Nothing to fancy here.
