Hardwire Pedals - stereo vs. mono

I use the Hardwire Delay/Looper for one keyboard and the Reverb for another. I'm laying out my pedals on a board and would like to eliminate re-patching when going between stereo and mono. If I leave a patch cable plugged into the Right output of these pedals, will it alter the output of the Left/Mono output? I know I could experiment, but most of my equipment lives in a van and rarely comes out except for gigs. Thanks.

  • Nothing like reading the manual. . . it appears that putting a patch cable in the delay R output converts most delays to a "ping pong" effect, alternating delays between right and left. So, summing the outputs should be a viable alternative, bringing both sides back to mono. As for the reverb, it appears that if there is one input and two outputs, the two outputs are "identical". If that is the case, I wonder whether identical really is "identical", or is there a small difference that would introduce comb filtering when the two outputs are combined into a mono signal. Anyone know for sure? Or have I misread something? Thanks again.
