Is my RP360XP SELECT knob FAULTY?

My SELECT knob gives me a bit of trouble. The rest of the stomp knobs are engaging with the usual for any push button or stomp knob light push but not the "SELECT" one. You better be pushing with all you got or you're getting nowhere. Really? Why?
Is yours the same or mine has a faulty knob?
