Curious about damage
So we've got a DriveRack2 in a club, and have the exact tunings for the speakers and the amps setup, and have done the Auto-Level and Auto-EQ wizard, but have changed the GEQ somewhat on the front end. This is a dance club, so they want more "thump".
I'm trying to figure out what levels coming out of the DJ Mixer are safe, and if there is anything that might cause damage to the amps and/or speakers.
In theory and in practice, should the Drive Rack protect both the amps and the speakers, regardless of the signal sent in the front end?
