Monitors live when setting up Feedback Supression?

I could not find the answer in the archives.
I use DRs on the FOH and two monitor feeds.
Should the monitors be off during the FOH feedback set-up?

And..for FOH I assume that ALL mics be on-drums, cabs, etc in addition to the vocal mics? Likewise for monitor feedback set-up?

For AFS all mics and speakers should be active including monitors. It may be necessary to kill one or the other to identify the tough frequencies. Find and fix and try again. If you get a lot of high frequency ring you might consider lowering the overall high frequencies a bit... and try again.

Yes all mics, be it instrument, vocal, drums...
