Aux Fed Subs Using DRPA

Hello,

I am using a DriveRack PA and am running a mono mix to the FOH. Since I'm
mono, I am only feeding the left side of the DRPA. I come out of the left high
output into a JBL MPX1200 amp and then to 2 passively crossed high
cabinets. I'm crossing at 100Hz as that is the recommendation of the high
cabinet manufacturer. I am coming out of the left low output into a Crown
MA3600 and then to 2 JBL SR4718's or SR4719's depending on the venue. Since
I'm not using the right side of the DRPA, I am wanting to use an aux send from
the board into the right input then out of the right low output to the low amp.
So I would basically be feeding the high cabinets from the left side of the
DRPA and the low cabinets from the right side of the DRPA. I can't think of
a reason that this wouldn't work. I asked the question on a ProSoundWeb
forum and had mixed answers. One guy said that he has used the DRPA this
way and has not had a problem. Another guy said that since the 2 sides of
the DRPA are stereo linked, that they would interact and cause problems.
Also, I don't use the feedback eliminator, compressors or limiters in this unit.
All I'm using is the crossover and graphic EQ. I thought I should probably ask
the people who make this unit to get the correct answer. Can I use the DRPA
this way without problems ?
Thanx for your time.
