How to find IP Address on a BLU-100
Hello everyone,
I have a BSS BLU-100 installed on a system with no information about the IP Address or any network settings.
I need to connect to it in order to get the loaded design to do some modifications that I need but every time I connect the network cable to it or to the switch I get on the windows network the connection limited sign, even with different network settings such as DHCP or many different statics IP that I tried. Of course that all the firewalls are disable and I use this computer to connect to others BSS without any problem.
Another thing that I don't know if is the design was made with London Architect or Audio Architect.
How can I know all this if I have no contact with the person who did the install to request all this info?

Easy.
Use the netsetter utility that comes with AA or a stand alone download. This has a pretty solid ability to get information across subnets.
But I work on a Cruise Ship and is a kind of hard to get a PC with serial port, there is another way to do it through the LAN?
And how do I know if was done with AA or LA?

The benefit of using the London Configurator is that it shows you the version of fimrware in the device. If the firmware shows as 6.xx then it's been programmed with LA. If it shows 86.xx then it's been programmed with AA. You can also see this in the Network window in LA. The firmware is listed under \"Application Software\"

You should try installing NetSetter. This will discover all the devices on the network regardless of IP address and allows you to change the IP address.
