constant level output?

Hi,
is it possible to have a 9088iis output run at a constant level?
i.e. a Soundweb Designer device or combination of devices which will increase / decrease gain automatically to maitain a preset output level?

I could place a very high gain stage then a limiter but I guess this would result in possible digital clipping etc

I just discovered the Leveller which will handle the gain side of the equation but not the gain reduction side...
