Seventeen weeks into the season and the CFLs West Division still hasnt been decided. That could change, however, this Saturday at B.C. Place Stadium when the Lions host the Edmonton Eskimos in a crucial divisional matchup (TSN, 10pm et/7pm pt). An Edmonton win would mean the Eskimos clinch first place in the West – and an automatic berth to host the West final – while a B.C. win would mean the Lions take control of their destiny heading into the final week of the season. Not forgotten are the Calgary Stampeders, who also still have a shot at top spot in the West. For that to happen, the Stamps would have to win both of their final two games and get some help along the way. Our question to you is: Who will win the CFLs West Division and get a first-round playoff bye? With two games remaining, the Eskimos have the clearest path to first place – something that would have seemed unlikely after last year, when Edmonton was the lone West team to miss the playoffs. The Eskimos are 10-6, one game ahead of both the Lions and Stampeders, and a win in B.C. away from clinching the division. But the Lions are one of the hottest teams in the league right now, with only one loss – last week in Hamilton – in the second half of the season to prove it. If they can beat Edmonton at home, then the Lions become the front runners for the first-round bye in the West. A Lions win would give B.C. and Edmonton matching 10-7 records, but it would also give the Lions the season series against the Eskimos, something they also have against the Stampeders. For the Stamps to win the division, they first need to win their final two games; a tall order for a team facing the Alouettes in Montreal (TSN, Sunday, 1pm et/10am pt) and Blue Bombers at home. Calgary would also need Edmonton to drop their final two games and B.C. their final game. It may seem improbable but the Stamps – who under Drew Tate looked re-energized last week against Saskatchewan – could still pull it off. The first-place scenario could be as straightforward as the Eskimos beating the Lions to clinch the West, or as convoluted as the circumstances that would see the Stamps sneak into top spot. At the end of the regular season, which two teams will be gearing up for the West Division semifinal, and which team will be enjoying the first-round bye? Youve heard what weve had to say, now its your turn: Who will finish first in the West Division and secure the first-round playoff bye? As always, its Your! Call. Rafinha Barcelona Jersey . And Richard Bachman, their rookie goalie, is facing a penalty shot a few seconds after the opening face-off. No pressure, right? Bachman stood his ground against Zack Kassian and saw the puck dribble off the Canuck rookies stick, then settled in and backstopped the Stars to a 5-2 win over Vancouver Tuesday that put Dallas in first place in the Pacific Division. MINNEAPOLIS -- Texas Rangers ace Yu Darvish was scratched from his scheduled start at Minnesota because of neck stiffness he woke up with, and right-hander Scott Baker was summoned back from the bullpen to face his former team Tuesday night. It was yet another injury to a star player for the ailing Rangers, who entered the day with wins in five of their previous six games despite the persistence of health problems. \"Just go play. Everyone still has a job to do. Weve lost a lot of good ballplayers, but weve also got a lot of good ballplayers out there,\" said manager Ron Washington, who learned of the latest setback around noon, seven hours before first pitch. The Rangers were hoping Darvish would be able to avoid the disabled list, but they were waiting for results of a precautionary MRI test on his neck, which was stiff enough in spring training to keep him from pitching for nearly three weeks and delay his season debut by one start until April 6. General manager Jon Daniels told reporters that Darvish said this injury didnt feel as bad as the last one, but given all the time the Rangers have spent in the training room this year they were proceeding cautiously. Baker, who was a second-round draft pick by the Twins out of Oklahoma State in 2003, spent five seasoons at the front of their rotation until an elbow injury forced Tommy John ligament replacement surgery in 2012.dddddddddddd Baker gave up six runs in six innings Friday at Detroit in his first start of the year but was intended to be moved back to long relief afterward. Against the Twins, he took the mound with three days of rest. Whether he stays in the rotation this time will depend, of course, on Darvishs status. The 27-year-old Japanese sensation is 4-2 in nine starts with a 2.35 ERA, the fourth-best in the league. He has 71 strikeouts in 61 1-3 innings. \"If he can pitch Sunday, I want him to pitch,\" Washington said, acknowledging hed prefer Darvish not have to swing the bat or run the bases with the Rangers playing an interleague series at Washington. The Rangers will have to make a roster move Wednesday regardless, with left-hander Joe Saunders due to come off the disabled list and pitch against the Twins. Saunders has been out since April 4, when he was hit by a line drive on his left ankle in the fourth inning at Tampa Bay. Saunders suffered a stress fracture and made four rehabilitation starts in the minors this month. \"Theres no limit on Joe. The Minnesota Twins are going to tell us how limited hes going to be,\" Washington said. cheap jerseys cheap jerseys china cheap jerseys wholesale jerseys wholesale jerseys ' ' '
