9008 network protocol question

Hi

Is it possible to use the 9008 as a audio out interface with a network connection directly to pc or mac or using a network connection like
a EMU Interface card (EMU 1616)? I know it is not cobranet but what protocol standard is used at the9008 for network connections? Are there any software emulators for direct to pc lan connections existing?

It is not possible.
The protocol used by the Soundweb Green is only supported in Soundweb hardware and is non-standard. There are no PC cards or PC emulators in existence.

If you look in the Master Document pdf for the green series, towards the end you'll find a paper on audio networking which gives some clues as to the standard protocol they use!
