Volume change Ramp

Is there a way in soundweb designer to assign a change rate to an incomming volume/gain change from either lan or rs232. In other words i am sending a new gain message (gain is at 20% goto 50%) from a 3rd party control system( crestron) and i want the change to be slow not a jump I am doing this on the control systemside but I think that it is sending too much info accross the pipe as it is changing multiple values at the same time?

Use Gain Timed objects and send two or three commands only.
Basically you need to send target volume, fade time and trigger. London will do the fade for you.
