triggering a preset with a calendar

I have tried setting up a calendar to trigger a preset trigger in logic, i have failed. Can you please explain i a few steps how to go about this?

    in properties of the calendar object, \"click button to edit\" you will get a table. double click on a line and set time and trigger on or off and if the event repeats daily, weekly, hourly. You can set it to go on or off multiple times during a day.
    then you connect the calendar object to preset trigger object. In properties of the preset trigger you tell it which preset to trigger when calendar goes high (1) and low (0).
