MVP-9000i get batt telnet command

dspotdspot Junior Member
Here is something I just noticed. I connected to an MVP-9000i via telnet and sent the get batt command. The result is (i hope) wrong.

Presence : Not present
Charge Status : Charged
Fault Status : No fault
Is Battery Smart: No

The same MVP shows Charged on the power management - charge status. I hope this is just a firmware problem. Firmware is v2.86.31.

nothing done besides some charge-discharge cycles, and when I rechecked, it looks the same like yours. weird.

It probably polls the battery in specific intervals, and you caught it between polls. The old Viewpoints used to do that too ... when you first called up the battery page after going on or off power, it took a minute or so for the gauge to be accurate.
