Unable to retrieve device list from the master

Anyone encountered this problem?
After adding a AXB-TMC (v2.11) to the AXLINK bus, when using Open Access 1.12 (Build 4) I encounter the message:
"Unable to retrieve device list from the master. Please confirm (connection active) and (master version is 3.90 or higher)."
Removing the AXB-TMC (v2.11) from the AXLINK bus allows normal operation of Open Access.
Other devices are an AXCENT3 Pro (v4.90) and a PC4 (actually a CPI16) (v2.10).
Netlinx Studio lists all items correctly and IREdit work fine uploading to the TMC.
Is this related to the Axcent3 firmware version?
