    The Homeworks module from AMX is a standard module ("S" symbol) and not a DUET module ("D" symbol). Standard modules can not be used with VA directly. You have to program it manually into the CUSTOM.AXI file which is created by VA when doing "Generate system files". I just have seen..... it's RS232...

    Another way would be to craete a "Custom String Definition" within VA. But I'm not familiar with the Homeworks protocol. In the current version of VA, you can define it as IP connect, but the content of the strings can only be ASCII.
