Problems with iPad mini stating "offline" in top right corner

Hi All,
I've just replaced an ipod 3rgd gen with a new iPad mini running iOS 6. It doesn't seemt o be connecting the program as it always says "offline" in the top right hand corner. I know that the ipad is connected to the NI Master as when I change the time settings on the NI it is reflected on the ipad right away. There was a "Not connected" message that came in the top left hand corner of the ipad when I was testing different network settings during troubleshooting but that is now gone.
Here are the details:
- I can browse the web on the ipad
- I can ping the master (192.168.1.5)
- The master seems to be communicating at some level with the device as I mentioned I can change the time config on the ipad through the web console of the master.
- Device ID's seem to be unique.
- Have tried all of the suggested fixes meaning reset network, ensure DNS is pointed to router (192.168.1.1) etc.
Help!

Is the "offline" in the top-right corner part of the touchpanel file itself? If so, you'd have to consult your code to make sure the channel associated with that button is being turned off appropriately.
Are there any symptoms that your iPad is NOT connected, other than this "offline" field? If you look in your device tree with NetLinx Studio, does the iPad show up? -
Ideally you should start a ticket here: https://www.touchpanelcontrol.com/helpdeskultimate/customer/index/
The next best bet is to use the proper forum so there is a change a TPC employee will see it: http://www.amxforums.com/forumdisplay.php?44-Touch-Panel-Control-AMX-Authorized-Product-Partner-Forum
I have many iPads of all 3 generations and minis deployed without the problem, so I'd guess there is something going on within your network (of which we know nothing about).
