Hi Everyone,

Does anyone else have the problem where if you run "Find and Replace" and then change an option, e.g. "Match case" you must close and reopen "Find and Replace" to make this option apply?

This is happening on 2 PC's at my end.

If so, any AMX techs, could we get this fixed?

    They changed a lot of things in the find/replace control with version 3, and there's been no word on any of it getting fixed. There's a whole thread on it somewhere, and it's years old ... and I am reasonably sure that issue is included.

    Yes its a bug. An even nicer one happens when using regular expressions and trying to replace a character using the $ expression. It just keeps searching forever and crashing the program.

    If you can get a hold of Studio 3.2.0.418, I think that's the best one they've released. The search & destroy (err, replace) function doesn't get in my way too, too much. when they made it modal, that kind of killed everything. Way too easy to accidentally delete a word or something.
