TP Arrays or Define_Combine

If you have multiple touch panels per room or project, do you usually use device arrays (TP Arrays) or define a virtual device and do a define_combine of all the touch panels.

I realized that using define_combine method, do_push commands work even if touch panels are not online.

Are there any other pros and cons of each method.

Define_combine joins everything, I prefer device and button arrays as it is easier to manage which buttons I want combined and which ones I don't.
It's really just preference though.

I have had some problems with DEFINE_COMBINE and touchpanels not being online at the time of combining.
